IMAGES IN THE DARK: Encyclopedia Of Gay & Lesbian Film & Video Paperback Murray
For sale is a paperback copy of Raymond Murray's book IMAGES IN THE DARK An Encyclopedia of Gay and Lesbian Film and Video, apparently a first edition, first printing of this version. Cover is blue, illustrated on the front with a photo and the pink triangle ( a symbol used by Nazis in Germany to mark homosexuals), the back has text, a summary and some reviews. Approximately 7" x 9" with 573 pages (about 1 1/4"), illustrated throughout - intended to be a reference book.
The book is in good condition, though the corners and edges show some wear. The corners naturally flare out a little when the book lays flat - a book that has been used - but there are no significant bends or folds in the cover. Pages 257 and 491 are dog eared. The cover surfaces have fine scratches, there is a bump in the middle, top of the back cover which affects a couple of pages.
