1950s VALLEY FORGE, PENNSYLVANIA - Washington's Headquarters Office - Postcard
Here's an interesting vintage postcard featuring the office and dining room area of George Washington's Headquarters at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. Looks pretty comfortable, with a fireplace, grandfather clock and china cabinet.
On the back, the card is identified as "Lusterchrome", made only by Tichnor Bros., Inc., Boston 15, Mass. It was published by Jack Freeman, Longport, N.J. It carries the number "6" and identification code "K-3966".
Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"
Date: Not dated, but probably from the 1950s.
Condition: Good, I'd say. The card is unused, with only slight edge wear. However, the back shows several patches of foxing in the bottom portion. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
