1950s VALLEY FORGE, PENNSYLVANIA - Martha Washington's Bedroom - Postcard
Here's an interesting vintage postcard featuring Martha Washington's Bedroom during the winter of 1777-78 at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. Looks like a very nice room with a comfortable 4-poster canopy bed.
On the back, the card is identified as "Lusterchrome", made only by Tichnor Bros., Inc., Boston 15, Mass. It was published by Jack Freeman, Longport, N.J. It carries the number "2" and identification code "K-3962".
Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"
Date: Not dated, but probably from the 1950s.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is unused, with only slight edge wear. The back shows one small spot of foxing at the bottom edge. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
