Here's an interesting vintage scenic postcard featuring the home of President Dwight D. Eisenhower in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. It also features small portraits of the President and his wife, Mamie.
The description on the back reads: "Here President and Mrs. Eisenhower spend as much time as official duties will permit. A few hundred yards from this site, President Eisenhower was commissioned as Major during the First World War."
The card is identified as "Tichnor Gloss" Quality Views, made only by Tichnor Bros., Inc., Boston 15, Mass. It was Published by L. E. Smith, Wholesale Distributor, Gettysburg, Pa. It carries the identification code "G90037".
Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"
Date: Not dated, but probably from the 1950s.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is unused, with very only slight edge wear. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
