1950s BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS - Public Gardens and Swan Boats - Unused Postcard
Here's an interesting vintage scenic postcard featuring the Public Gardens in Boston, Massachusetts. The description reads: "These Gardens are famous for their spectacular flower beds, flowering trees and shrubs in bloom from Spring to Fall. In keeping with the quiet beauty of the Gardens, graceful Swan Boats glide over the surface of an artificial lake. During the summer season a small fleet of these Swan Boats operate daily."
The card is identified as a "Natural Color Card from Kodachrome", a Mike Roberts color Production, Berkeley 2, California. It was Published for Bromley & Company, Inc., Boston 14, Massachusetts. It carries the identification code "BM 11a".
Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"
Date: Not dated, but probably from the 1950s.
Condition: Good, I'd say. The card is unused, with very only slight edge wear. However, the back shows a moderate amount of foxing. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
