Vintage AMERICAN RED CROSS Blood Donor - Screw-Back Lapel Pin
Description: Here's a nice vintage screw-back lapel pin for the American Red Cross. The central design is a shield with 13 stars and stripes. Surrounding the shield it reads "AMERICAN RED CROSS", "PRO PATRIA" and "BLOOD DONOR".
The pin appears to be copper or brass, but there are no markings whatsoever to indicate the pin's maker, metal content or age. In any event, both pin and wheel nut are non-magnetic.
Actual Size: approx. 9/16" diameter
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The pin doesn't appear to have any noticeable wear and still seems to have a shiny surface coating of some sort.. (Please see my high-res scans.)
