1950s GETTYSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA - Lincoln Speech Memorial and Gettysburg Address - Unused Postcard
Here's a wonderful vintage color postcard featuring: "The Lincoln Speech Memorial, located in the National Cemetery near the spot where on November 19, 1863 at the dedication of the Soldiers' National Cemetery, Lincoln delivered the world-famous Gettysburg Address." It includes the full text of the speech.
The back of the card indicates that it's "Plastichrome by COLOURPICTURE PUBLISHERS, INC., Boston 15, Mass., U.S.A.", and was published by "L. E. smith, Wholesale Distributors, Gettysburg, Pa." At the top center is the code number "P22536".
Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"
Date: Not dated, but I believe it's from the 1950s, or perhaps very early 1960s.
Condition: Good, I'd say. The card is unused, with sharp edges. The front is clean and bright, but the back does show significant foxing. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
