From the pattern envelope, "The dart-fitted bodice, fastened with a four-button closing in the back, joins the dirndl skirt at the natural waistline. A U-shaped yoke, accented with three buttons, finishes the bodice front. In styles 1 and 2, the neck edge and tiny puffed sleeves are finished with bias binding. Self fabric ties. Style 1 has self fabric ruffles. Style 3 has corded waistline piping, contrasting yoke, Peter pan collar (COLLAR PATTERN PIECE IS MISSING.), long puffed sleeves with cuffs and patch pockets. The panties are fitted with elastic at the waist and leg opening. This pattern is dated 1949 ."
