VERMONT - Vintage Collector's Souvenir Spoon - Wm. Rogers & Son AA
Description: Here's a souvenir collector spoon for the State of Vermont. It's marked "Wm ROGERS & SON AA" and I assume that it's silver-plated.
On the handle of the spoon it has an eagle above the word "VERMONT". Beneath that a tiny stag sits atop a shield which appears to represent Vermont scenery. On a ribbon beneath the shield are the words "FREEDOM AND UNITY".
Actual size: approx. 6" long
Condition: Just good, I'd say. This spoon has been well used with numerous small surface scratches in the bowl. The finish has a somewhat uneven appearance as though some of the plating has rubbed off, both on the bowl and the handle. (Please see scans.)
