Vintage Wooden TIC-TAC-TOE Board w/ Wooden Pegs - 1950s (?)
Description: Here's a nice old "TIC TAC TOE" board made from a block of wood, measuring 4" x 6" x 3/4" (not counting feet and pegs). I'm not sure but, judging by the grain, it's probably oak. It seems to have a very light coat of varnish. The board rests on four wooden ball-type feet. Each of the pegs is also made of wood and painted, 4 red and 4 black.
On the bottom of the board is stamped "CORNWALL WOOD PRODUCTS, SOUTH PARIS, MAINE".
There's no date on this piece, but I'm fairly certain it goes back at least to the 1950s.
Condition: Excellent, I'd say. The board and pieces show virtually no wear at all. One of the bottom end edges is somewhat rough along the edge, where it was originally sawed across the grain.
**NOTE**: Shipping charges are discounted when more than one of my items are purchased at the same time. See what else I have to offer!
