It's bright, it pops, it's cute and sweet, it's all Halloween fun!
Itching to create something a bit different from our norm, but fashioned similar to our vintage hankie onesie, we took this soft cotton full onesie and took it to the top! This has a cute fabric patch on its chest just full of holiday fun, added a sweet black and white gingham satin bow at the neckline (which is removable), and trimmed the sleeves with black embroidery floss in a wide stitch for accent.
The skirt is a front and back apron pinafore style, open at the sides, but ties at the waist on each side with black and white gingham ribbon allowing to adjust for the waist size of the child. The waist band is done in black with white polka dots giving a fun contrast to the look. This has black and white gingham shoulder straps that criss cross in back and thread through a button hole in the center of the waist band in back, and then ties in a bow. This will allow for longer or shorter length adjustments to the skirt. At the waist band of the skirt there is a layer of black tulle that lies over the top of the skirt and hangs half way down the skirt in the front and back. There is also black tulle under the front and back of the skirt that hangs an inch below the hemline. It's a little hard to see in the photo's. The skirt fabric is full of pumpkins, bats, spiders and webs and so very bright in color. The onesie snaps at the bottom underneath.
A 2pc set so the onesie can be worn without the pinafore apron skirt. This is so adorable on, full of pop and fun, and still sweet and cute.
