1888 WILLIMANTIC THREAD Victorian Trade Card - Three children with butterfly net
Victorian Trade Card - WILLIMANTIC THREAD
Pretty card featuring three small children. One of the boys has apparently caught a butterfly in his net.
The back of the card advertises Willimantic's SIX CORD SPOOL COTTON as "The Best Thread for Sewing Machines".
Size: approx. 3" x 4¼"
Date: 1888
Lithographer: Donaldson Brothers, N.Y.
Condition: Good, I'd say. The card is a bit soiled with slightly worn edges and corners, except for the lower left, which is missing a small piece. The back has spots of surface paper loss near each of the corners, likely from scrap book removal. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
