ART CRAFT - 1972 Olympic Summer & Winter Games (#1460-62, C85) Set of 4 FDCs - UA
Very nice matching set of four First Day Covers, bearing individual copies of the 1972 Summer and Winter Olympics 6¢, 8¢, 11¢, and 15¢ commemorative stamps (Sc. #1460-2, C85). The XX Olympiad (Summer Games) was held in Munich, Germany, while the XI Winter Olympics was held in Sapporo, Japan.
Postmarked: Washington, DC - August 17th, 1972
Cachet: Each cover has a different monochrome ARTCRAFT design appropriate to the one of the four sports represented on the stamps: bicycling, bobsledding, skiing, and track.
Condition: Neat, clean, and unaddressed.
