J.R. Williams is really one of my favorite cartoonists that came out of the newave comix scene and this is a thick collection of his work, including a healthy dose of his 1980s mini-comics work. Lots of beautiful, twisted stuff, including some sketchbook excerpts and a lot of the pieces include background notes by the artist.
Contents include Deadly Duck, a great parody of RAW strips (Gary Panter's Jimbo, Mark Beyer), Bad Teens, Skinboy and more.
