This listing is for 3 sets of cups and saucers made of thin china with a lusterware / lustre ware glazed finish. These are paper thin and decorated with an Art nouveau floral motif. The cups are marked on the bottom with an M inside a star. I'm not sure if this is an early Mikasa mark or not. I believe it is. No chips or cracks. A very nice set that probably dates from 1900-1910. The motif indicates the cusp of Art Nouveau/Arts and Crafts.
There is a fourth set that has damage. If you would like to have it I will send it at no extra charge but the cup is not usable (large crack, and the saucer has a small bite out of the footer ring. This does not show, effect balance or risk the stability of the piece. The cup is only good for display and the saucer could be an extra if you break one of the three good ones.
The photos were taken before the one cup broke so it shows all 4 sets.
