Nice original Excellent condition
Lovely vintage flow blue plate with a scalloped,
embossed edge.
The design features a blue flower garland around the outer edge with a similar inside the Bowl.
The Bon white of the Compote is beautiful.
John Maddock and Sons were earthenware manufacturers on Newcastle Street, Dale Hall, Burslem, Stoke on Trent beginning in 1855.
The mark features a crown atop a circle with "ENGLAND" in the circle center. Around the circle are the words "John Maddock & Sons Ltd and Royal Vitreous". Below the mark is the pattern name "HEUMANN". The mark dates to Circa: 1896.
