This Soleus Air KY-32H 12000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner Cooling/Heating /Dehumidifying is a Refurbished item that will be delivered to you directly from the manufacturer. The warranty and return policy for this unit will be the same as the warranty/return policy for the new units.
"Refurbished" means that the product was returned to the manufacturer either because the customer simply didn't want it or a minor problem was found. Before re-selling the product, manufacturers fix and certify the unit. Manufacturers often replace the outer case on the product, before selling it on.

Refurbished products cannot be sold as new products in the US, which is why they are relabeled as refurbished or refreshed units even if they are good-as-new (if, for example, the unit was returned for some reason unrelated to the product itself, such as the customer changing their mind about the color). Refurbished items may have minor scratches or other forms of minor cosmetic damage which do not affect the performance of the unit. Refurbished products could possibly be the products which are returned by the customer within the return period of the company which sold the product, without any defect of the product. Refurbished products are generally bench tested and certified by the authorized service centers of the company and then re-packaged and labeled as a Refurbished Product.

Defective Product

This product is Refurbished, shipped directly from a manufacturer’s warehouse and is backed by a Limited Manufacturer Warranty. If a product is defective, the preferred and recommended way to handle the situation is to carefully review the Limited Manufacturer Warranty, which can usually be found in an owner's manual included in the product package. Next, contact the manufacturer to obtain warranty coverage.

PRODUCT4U LLC does not handle manufacturer warranty issues, so all product problems that are covered under the manufacturer warranty are solely between the manufacturer and you (buyer).

All defective units can also be returned within 5 days of receipt of the product (beyond 5 days, only warranty coverage is allowed). The reason for a return must be e-mailed to PRODUCT4U LLC (product_for_you@yahoo.com). In some cases, based on the information received, we will require you (buyer) to contact the manufacturer to discuss your issue with customer support personnel.
Such a discussion can help you (buyer) to resolve an issue and eliminate the need for return. If you (buyer) still want to proceed with the return (contacting the manufacturer did not resolve the issue), it will be assigned a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and will be provided a return shipping label at no extra cost to you (buyer). A return address will be provided. The RMA number must be visible on the exterior of the box and written on the shipping label, not on the shipping box or the manufacturer's box. The unit must be returned in its original packaging including accessories, manuals, warranty cards, etc. The unit will be inspected/tested upon its return.
A full refund, including original outbound shipping cost, will be issued, or a replacement will be provided at no additional cost to you (buyer) at your (buyer’s) preference upon the return of the merchandise and completion of the inspection process.
If the unit is found not to be defective after the return, you (buyer) will be charged up to 15% restocking fee and the original outbound and return freight (shipping) costs. In addition to this fee, a pro-rated charge (up to 100%) will be assessed for items that are returned incomplete or with non-resalable parts.
Note: Some of our products are offered with free shipping, meaning shipping has been included in the price. For such items, our actual outbound shipping cost is not refundable.

Damaged in shipment (New unit found damaged)
Return for Refund or Replacement

All shipments must be thoroughly inspected and, if you (buyer) find that merchandise is damaged in shipment, PRODUCT4U LLC must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of the unit to qualify for a refund or replacement unit. A detailed description of the damage must be provided. Any report after the 48 hours will not be honored.
Once PRODUCT4U LLC has been made aware of the damage, the carrier will be notified. The unit should be available for inspection by the carrier if the carrier chooses to inspect it. The original packaging must be kept for this inspection. If the original packaging is not available and the claim is instantly denied by the carrier for that reason, PRODUCT4U LLC will also deny the claim. It will be assigned a Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) number and will be issued a Call Tag/Pick Up for the pick up of the product. A return address will be provided. The RMA number must be visible on the exterior of the box and written on the shipping label, not on the shipping box or the manufacturer's box. A damaged item will be picked up at no charge to you (buyer). The unit must be returned in its original packaging including accessories, manuals, warranty cards, etc. A full refund including the original outbound shipping cost will be issued or a replacement unit will be provided at no additional cost to you (buyer) at your (buyer's) preference upon the return of the merchandise.

Refused/Rejected Shipments

If you (the buyer) refuse/reject the shipment of this product for any reason other than "Damaged in shipment", your S&H charges will not be refunded, and you (the buyer) may be responsible for any return shipping charges and up to 15% restocking fee.

Buyer Remorse
(Customer changes his/her mind)

You (buyer) may change your mind on a product purchased within 3 days from the time of receipt. A buyer remorse RMA request must be e-mailed to PRODUCT4U LLC at product_for_you@yahoo.com with a detailed description of his or her intention to return. A restocking fee up to 15% will be charged on all returned units. The unit must be returned in its original packaging with accessories. The product must be unopened, not used. In addition to this fee, a pro-rated charge (up to 100%) will be assessed for items that are returned incomplete or with non-resalable parts. A Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) number will be assigned. The RMA number must be visible on the exterior of the box and written on the shipping label, not on the shipping box or the manufacturer's box. You (buyer) are responsible for all shipping charges on a returned unit. A full refund will be issued, excluding shipping cost and the restocking fee, upon the return of the merchandise. If PRODUCT4U LLC arranges to pick up the unit, all shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.

Error in Shipment

If the product delivered to you (buyer) is not the product as purchased, you (buyer) may choose to return the unused product for a full refund including the shipping cost, or exchange it for the product originally purchased. PRODUCT4U LLC (product_for_you@yahoo.com) must be notified within 48 hours of delivery. A product shipped in error must be returned within seven (7) days following the receipt of the product by you (buyer). It will be assigned a Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) number then will be issued a Call tag/Pick up for the pick up and return of the product at no charge to you (buyer). A return address will be provided. The RMA number must be visible on the exterior of the box and written on the shipping label, not on the shipping box or the manufacturer's box.
