Vintage pair of chalkware angels are kneeled in prayer - one is holding a candle and the other has her hands clasped.
They each measure 3 3/4" wide wing-to-wing, 3" thick and 7" high. Both bottoms are stamped "Japan" and the original owner wrote in pen "Dec. 1935" on the bottoms.
Each has some paint chips - the worst being the back of the head of the candleholder girl. The clasped hands girl has a chip near her knee and a few smaller ones on her foot. Her hair has a few small chips.
Their faces are dirty but I will leave that up to you to clean as I don't want to damage them.
