Antique Boch Freres Faience Pottery Delft Plate Windmill Ship, fm619
.offered is a lovely antique white and blue faience plate made by Boch Freres.
They opened their pottery factory in 1841 in the town of La Louviere in Belgium. Between 1875 and 1885, Victor Boch hired Dutchmen from Delft and Maastricht who brought with tems their oun know how. Their arrival led to an emphasis on hand painted rather than printed patterns and designs.
This plate features a large windmill and ship and a couple are talking.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is an antique hanger on the back so you can hang this on your wall if you want.
It is well marked Boch Belgium Delft.
It measures 6.5 inches in diameter.
