This athame was made in Spain out of solid knickel.
There are battle scenes engraved on the hilt. The top is crested with a crown that looks fraternal. There is a sheild engraved with a roaring lion on the base of the hilt. This reminds me of the king of England stamps used on silver... BUT THIS IS NOT SILVER. It is definitely knickel.
The athame weighs several pounds and is solid in the hand. The blade has some staining of some sort which could probably be removed and the very tip is broken off flat. Won't make much of a weapon but it's a cool collectors item.
