This is the type of oud is popular for everyday usage in many Saudi homes. Nothing fancy about this oud but it smells INCREDIBLE!
The scent of Malaysian agarwood oud is slightly strong and woody when first burnt but then mellows to a nice exotic "Arabian" scent which is very pleasing and soothing.
Unlike bukhoor, this is real oud from Malaysian Agarwood trees. Not bukhoor, which is woodchips soaked in scented oils!
To use: Make sure the coal in your burner is already burning and is white and ashy around the edges. You then take 1 piece and split it into tiny slivers using a nail clipper or something else suitable. Take the slivers and wet them-just alittle-just so they are moist and then place carefully on the coal. Wait a second and they will start to burn and produce wonderfully scented smoke! You can then add small slivers as they get used up. But, a little goes a LONG way.
If you need a burner, just send me a inquiry and I'll help you find a wonderful burner!
