FRENCH WWI AIRPLANE REPORTING "MOST OF THE FRENCH AIRMEN ARE DEAD OR IN TEUTONIC PRISONS"As many of you know, I specialize in finding old American reporting pictures and stories of long ago that have been overlooked, seldom found and rarely read. Here is a story entitled A DAY WITH THE FRENCH AIR-WARRIOR VEDRINES as published and from this old American magazine in 1915. Seems that in the early days of aviation, World War I caused an explosion of flying progress. This is an old collage of pictures of the French Air Warrior Vedrines in his plane and inspecting a German plane's machine gun and preparing for a flight over the front. The page is 11 by 16 inches -- in great condition. Some of you might have this great story for framing or placing it on your coffee table.
