DESCRIPTION: Soft cover, 5.5” x 8.5”, approximately 128 un-numbered pages, yellow cover with picture of Mike Sokoll. CONTENTS: What a great bit of 10l Ranch memorabilia. Col. Mike J. Sokoll was born in Hungary in 1894, and came to the United States as a young child. At the age of 16, he left his family home and joined the Miller Brothers 101 Ranch show, learning trick roping and other western tricks from the stars of the shows. In this great book, each page has one or more pictures, with captions that tell a little of the star or the event. Fascinating to look through. This is great text and pictures of the early cowboy star of the old west who plied their rodeo trade in every little hamlet and village.. The great stories of the West are rapidly diminishing. AN AMERICAN RODEO TREASUREHumbly, I have tried to resurrect our great American Western Heritage and present them through this internet media to those that might appreciate them. Because old books and magazines were not indexed, I try to do so. My wife says that after I find something like “this, ” buy it, research it, index it, scan it, write the description, pay eCRATER the entry fee and commission, I wind up making about 50 cents an hour.
