This listing is for a mens silk tie with a surfboard theme. The design of the tie is unusual and very eye catching. The colors are very vibrant. There is a label on the back of the necktie which says: 100% silk, and gives the care instructions as dry clean only. Imprinted on the fabric on the back of the tie, it says: Arquitectonica Surf’s Up. I take that to be the name of the design of the fabric. The tie has brightly colored surfboards in various designs on it, up the front of it. There are also some slightly wavy lines, which I take to be waves, and there are some fish in the design as well. The back front, smaller side of the tie has no surfboards; just the wavy lines and fish on it. This tie looks like it has not been worn. However, the tie does have a few flaws. There are three small holes in the tie, at the halfway mark, at the back of the neck. This would not be seen while the tie was being worn, however. The hole looks worse in the photo than it actually does, I noticed. However, please take note of this and do not buy if it is a concern. There is what looks like a very slight discoloration on the outside edge of the tie, near the bottom tip. It is very light, and is barely noticeable in my opinion. There is an area on the bottom back of the tie, where it looks like another label was removed. Please see the listing photographs for visuals of these flaws. However, even with these flaws, this is still a great tie.
