This listing is for a womens vintage coat, which has a great matching beaded head scarf. The brand of the coat is Forstmann. The fiber content of the coat is listed as 100 % virgin wool. The fabric is in very nice blue and green shades, and some of the yarns have a curled texture. There is no size label in the coat. The coat measures approximately 22 inches across the front, from underarm to underarm. Please take note of this measurement, to determine if the coat is the size you are looking for. The coat has a stand up collar, and buttons up the front. The buttonholes are on a slant, which gives the coat an interesting look. It has two front pockets. One of the tops of the pockets has some loose stitching. The stitching holding the very top of the pocket down has come undone, but this would be very easy to stitch back up, or it could be left as is. The sleeves have some interesting seaming. The sleeves look like they are a dropped sleeve style. They are somewhat full, and then narrow dramatically at the bottom of the sleeve hem. This coat is vintage, and has a few flaws. The lining of the coat has discolored areas, and has been repaired along the shoulder seams of the lining, with hand stitching, evidently to close up rips. It looks like there is a very slight water stain on the lining at the top of the collar. It also looks as if there may have been a label attached to the lining of the coat, at the top inside neck, which is now gone. The head scarf has black flat disks on it, which are topped by large pearl like beads, which have movement to them, and bobble around. None appear to be missing. The back of the scarf has some water stains and some light rust stains on it. The scarf is made out of the same wool fabric as the coat, and is backed with a synthetic type of fabric.
