Produces large meaty fruit
Indeterminate plant (produces all season)

Pink-red fruits are oblate shaped. HUGE, meaty, slicing variety. These can weigh 2-3 or sometimes 4 lb each. One of the fruits I grew last year when cut covered whole piece of bread on the sandwich I ate! Can't you already taste the delicious summer tomato sandwich? The plants produced fruit throughout the season and were very prolific. Oh, here's a twist. Sprinkle chives on the sandwich...even better. Also, try diced, fresh tomato and cucumber tossed salad with a vinegarette dressing! Yum!
Plant 1/4" deep in full sun once soil warms to 75.
Plant some pest repelling flowers nearby instead of using chemicals. Use "companion" plants to guard your tomatos from invasive garden pests! Plant basil, onions, chamomile, anise, geraniums, lemon balm and marigolds. These plants will help to keep those aphids in check! If you plant sunflowers away from your tomatos, the aphids will go there. Plant cosmos anywhere in your garden & the praying mantis will come and eat anything that moves! You want to have bees, butterflies & birds in your garden for a good balance. Nature will take care of the pests, no chemicals!
