Catnip is a perennial herb, a member of the mint family, producing fuzzy, grey-green leaves. The whole plant and leaves may be used dried or fresh as a tea and also for cat toys. Catnip is not fussy about soil conditions, but light or sandy soil is best. Full sun or partial shade. Grows to a height of 18 - 36 inches. Catnip is very hardy once established and self sows.
