Here is a small hand crafted trinket box or it could hold a few pieces of jewelry. It could also have been made to hold two decks of cards so I checked and it will hold a deck of cards on each side of the divider. I have no idea what it was actually made to hold but you could use it for any or all of the above.

The lid has a design that was hand carved and this box is the tongue and groove so there are no nails. This box is in good used condition with no cracks that I could find although there is a slight musty smell from age or storage. There is a name in the lid and base so I’m guessing that this guy Calvin is who made this cute little box.

The box measures 6” long x 4 1/2” wide x 2” tall.
