AESTHETIC WOOD & HUGHES sterling Demitasse spoons, circa 1875. 4 inches long; 0.25 ozt each.

Intriguing Aesthetic pattern by Wood & Hughes with a Japanesque bamboo design on the handle shaft and an almost Arts & Crafts rosette floral design at the top. Nice addition to any collection of 19th century sterling flatware. Overall good condition with some nicks and small dings in the bowls. One bowl still has some glue residue from a tag--need soaking in warm water to remove. The inside bowls were originally a matt finish, but this is fairly worn. Monogram is "M.W.R."
