Insurance is no longer a choice that I can offer due to the new eCRATER rules. So, I include it in the shipping. It shows as part of the handling charge. I liked it better when the buyer had the choice, but alas it is no more. Remember, we all depend on the various mail services to perform a satisfactory delivery but it doesn't always happen like that. We ship with a $1 handling/packing charge on most items. That covers packaging, tape, paper, ink, gas and any of the little extra expenses that do not show up on the postage sticker. A padded envelope is almost the entire $1, but that cost does not show on a first class mail postage sticker. Please realize, that the small handling charge is not an effort to get rich, it is an effort to keep from losing money on the shipping, Anything we charge for insurance will be above and beyond that dollar.INSURANCE IS NOW INCLUDED SINCE eCRATER CHANGED IT'S POLICY. THEY DON'T AGREE THAT THE product CLOSING PRICE IS ACCURATE.So I use an outside insurance source that insures both the item and the shipping, which the post office does not. The cost for the insurance will not show up on the postage label. Please add a fair rate for the insurance to the label before, hitting for high shipping. All that does is make more money for eCRATER because they don't have to give a discount to me. Yes, they charge me the fee's, but guess who is really paying? That's right, the buyer pays! ANYTHING, on a calculated shipping product......that is over a dollar more than I spent, I refund. Fixed rate shipping products are what the product states. When a calculated shipping product is written, the item is not packed, so we weigh the item and guestimate the packing weight and enter that amount. If the shipping runs $1 or more, lower than the product states, we refund the difference! We don't refund overage amounts less than $1. We are trying to get items out at a fair price and have no profit intentions with shipping. If the shipping is listed as flat rate, there is probably a higher packaging cost that has been included. In this case, the shipping will be what the product states, so please buy accordingly as there will not be a refund. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Any fees that your country charges for CUSTOMS are not included. I have no control over them. I also have no control over any delays in shipping caused by CUSTOMS. Both CUSTOMS FEE'S and DELAYS are a product of your country's customs policies, plan accordingly. The handling charge for international shipping is $2 on top of the insurance as my costs to get the package out are slightly higher than shipping in my own country. We are not experts on anything, we list each item to the best of our ability and provide photo's from which the buyer can determine value. All items are "You-Grade". We are not graders or appraisers, each items value will be determined by the buyer. All items need to be paid for within 5 days from product's end. If unpaid we will file a non payment claim with eCRATER to recoup our fees and relist the item. If you are using paypal, you must have a confirmed address.If you are an INTERNATIONAL buyer, I may sell to you if you contact me first. I would like to be able to sell everywhere, but I am required to take paypal. Problem is, paypal will not offer me seller protection everywhere. Anyway, you need to speak to me first. If you live in a country that my insurance company does not cover, you must use priority international mail. I can only ship first class to insurable countries.
