This set of salt and pepper shakers is shaped like celery stalks. The body of the shakers is yellow, shading to green on the top.
These shakers are old and they do show signs of age. There is a sticker on one of the shakers that is too faded to read.
Both of the shakers have small chips on the green portion of the top. Both shakers also show heavy wear on the back.
There is some staining on both shakers. One shaker is completely missing the cork stopper for the back, the other shaker has the cork stopper stuck inside.
The shakers are marked on the bottom in red with the word "Japan." These were probably made between 1921-1945, although I cannot narrow down the date any further than that. One of the shakers also has the number 42 on it.
Each shaker measures approximately 3 ½ inches long and 1 inch wide at its widest.
