Vintage 4 Novelty Tavern Candles Made in U.S.A. by Socony-Vacuum Oil Company with Labels
Here are 4 vintage novelty tavern candles in the original box and all 4 angel candles have the label still attached. These candles were Made in U.S.A. by Socony-Vacuum Oil Company, Inc. These candles are in good vintage condition, none have been lit although there is some paint loss on most of them.
The box is labeled Tavern Novelty Candles No. 757 Small Angels Socony-Vacuum oil company, Inc. I’ve never heard of this oil company but the logo reminds me of the Texaco Oil Co. The box is in fair condition with edge wear and some stains but it is complete.
These angel candle measure about 2 1/2” tall and up to 1 3/4” wide.
