The LiftMaster 41A2817 is the drive gear and worm gear repair kit used on many of the LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Sears Craftsman garage door openers as well as the private labeled brands made by Chamberlain. This 41A2817 garage door opener gear repair kit includes the worm gear, drive gear, roll pins, grease, bushings and washers needed when replacing the main gear, which is the most common one to wear out and includes complete step-by-step instructions. The tools that will be needed are: 1/8” allen wrench, flat head screw driver, 1.4” nut driver, 5/32” punch, 3/8” nut driver or socket, 5/16” nut driver or socket with extension and a hammer. This 41A2817 drive gear and worm gear repair kit is a factory original repair kit made by Chamberlain Corporation who makes the LiftMaster, Sears Craftsman, Master Mechanic, Access Master, Do-It and some of the Wayne Dalton garage door openers. The LiftMaster 41A2817 can save you money by doing it yourself with the easy to follow instructions included, with the few tools listed and is less costly than the full gear assembly. The 41A2817 gear repair kit includes the worm gear, drive gear, roll pins, grease, bushings and washers as well as step-by-step instructions.
