This set of small salt and pepper shakers is white with gold accenting. The shakers have a gold colored band near the top and a gold colored line around the bottom. The tops are also gold colored. The shakers have cork stoppers.
These shakers are marked on the bottom with the word "Japan" in green. They likely date to just after WW II, possibly earlier. They were made some time between 1921-1945.
The shakers are old and do show some signs of age. There is extensive wear on the bottom from storage and use. Small pieces of the cork stoppers have also been torn away. There is wear to the gold accenting on both shakers, there are some small areas, especially on the line at the bottom, where it is completely worn away. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on either shaker.
The shakers measure approximately 1 ¾ inches tall and 3 ½ inches around.
