Shea butter is known for its cosmetic properties as a moisturizer. It is also a known anti-inflammatory agent. It is also marketed as being effective at treating the following conditions: eczema, burns, rashes, acne, severely dry skin, blemishes, chapped lips, wrinkles, and in lessening the irritation of psoriasis. Shea butter provides a small amount of natural ultraviolet sun protection. Shea butter absorbs rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling.
The sweet almond oil is obtained from the dried kernel of the plant. This oil has been traditionally used by massage therapists to lubricate the skin during a massage session. It is a mild, lightweight oil, rich in unsaturated fats and essential fatty acids which is easily absorbed into the skin and it is very high in omega-3.
Unlike common vegetable oils, jojoba oil is chemically very similar to the oily matter (sebum) in the hair follicles that lubricates the skin and hair of humans and it is also an exceptional moisturizer.
