I have an old family recipe for the best ever Cincinnati Chili.
For those unfamiliar with Cincinnati Chili there is very little comparison to standard Texas style chili. Cincy chili is a rich meat chili that is spicy, but not hot. It has some sweet spices that you will never find in Texas chili.
Cincy chili is served over spaghetti - AKA a two way. Mound up shredded cheddar cheese on the top and it is a three-way. Add diced onions or beans and you have a four-way, or a five-way if you add both. While you won't find it in many chili restaurants you can also add chopped green peppers and tomatoes for a seven way.
WARNING: Once you have this combination a couple of times you WILL become addicted.
The recipe that we have MUCH better (IMHO) than the standard faire that you will find in any Cincinnati chili restaurant. Besides serving it over spaghetti it is also delicious on hotdogs for a superior chilidog.
