1982 Royal Delft De Porceleyne Fles Dutch Blue and White Heeled Boot Shoe
De Porceleyne Fles, also known as Royal Delft makes 2 kinds of souvenir shoes, the traditional Dutch shoe or Klompen, and this lovely little heeled shoe that looks a little like a boot. If you bought this new today, it would run over $150.00. A great buy.
On the bottom are the artist initials FWE which stand for F. Weith, whose married name is Hofstra. She worked for the factory from 1980-1994. The letters DB which stand for 1982 with the model number 2870. The measurements are 4-1/4-in long, 1-1/2-in wide, 2-1/2-in tall.
Absolutely perfect condition.
I have 2 of these. The second one the date is DR which is 1997 and the artist is U.R. Kuczinski.
