The Avon Polished Strands Neckchain is a slinky zebra chain in shimmering goldtone with a spring ring clasp. Introduced by Avon in the Campaign 4 1983 brochure, this classic chain necklace is 20 inches in length. Can be worn by itself or other chains.
Comes in its original box.
Avon began operations in the mid 1880s in Manhattan, NY by David McConnell as the California Perfume Company (CPC). In 1939, the company changed it’s name to Avon Products, Inc. Although Avon first introduced jewelry items to hold solid perfume (glace) in 1965, it wasn't until 1971 that jewelry was officially offered with the Precious Pretenders Collection.
