Emma Domb Ice Blue Formal Dress 1950 1960s Lace Bodice Floor Length prom dance 49
Emma Domb dresses have class and style. This one from the 1960s, 1970s is no exception. It has small straps on a lace overlaid bodice. The waist is a little high, but not an empire waist. Although where the lace stops it indicates an empire waist. The bodice has stays. think this is called a shelf bust dress. A back zipper provides closure. An elegant train descends from a bow at the waist. Nice Touch!!!
The skirt bubbles out from the waist like a tulip. There are three layers to the skirt. A thin sheer chiffon top layer, the opaque second nylon layer, and a thin white crinoline layer. This is a beauty. ****There is a small spot on the front of the gown. This is the only defect or distraction that I see.
