An exquisitely sweet and very tiny evening bag or purse made in Czechoslovakia long ago. It is made of a web of tiny white beads over ivory twill. The flap is a chevron of white and silvery beads. These silver beads are clear beads with a silver or gray insert that gives the look of glittering silver. The flap is secured with a tiny dressmaker's snap.
The little hand strap is probably a cord wrapped in more tiny white beads. They coil around the core in a slightly diagonal spiral. The bag has a mirror pocket on the interior and is marked made in Czechoslovakia. Measurements are 4 x 6 inches and the strap is 7 inches.
The condition is excellent. No breaks in the beading and it is clean. What looks like missing beads on the handle are probably a start/end of the sewing. There are no loose threads.
