This is a vintage 1969 pattern from Simplicity, number 8518. This is a never used pattern that contains a set of love transfers and a tote bag pattern. The envelop says, This envelop contains transfers and directions for appliquing the word 'love' as well as pattern and directions for making the tote bag...approximately 3 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 12 1/2". The word 'love' is in 3 different types of lettering. Each type is in two sizes...approximately 5" x 7 1/2" tall or 16" x 21" tall. Also included in two sizes are transfers for the exclamation mark, the cloud and the butterfly. The larger motif for all views may be used as wall posters, banners, bedspreads, etc. The smaller motif may be used on bags, articles of clothing, on pillows...as book marks, etc. This one is in excellent condition.
