Before electric was available, tapers or spills were used to light oil lamps for burning. This charming Victorian spill or taper holder from the late 19th century is made of unglazed all white Parian Ware, showing a little boy, sack thrown over his shoulder, walking along a giant flower decorated sea shell. These early pieces are hard to find in excellent condition as this one is and would be nice to add to your collection. Please add $4.55 for shipping. If you have any questions, please Email me BEFORE the end of the auction. I do try to describe every piece accurately, but if you are buying an antique, please be aware that because it is not brand new, there may be flaws inherent to the piece. PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT accept PayPal. Thank you for looking.
