The setting is original Art Deco Filigree composed of 14K White Gold with a Rhodium or Platinum finish. The setting incorporates butterflies on the sides, a favorite of French designers of the day and is in amazing original condition. At the center there is a genuine Diamond set in additional filigree which is set in genuine Rock Crystal. There are four antique emerald cut Emeralds (most likely lab stones as was popular at the time) giving it even more of that 1920's Art Deco design. The entire ring measures about 3/4 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide and is in lovely estate condition. There are some nicks to the Emerald stones, but they are stable and wearable and noticeable upon close inspection. A truly rare piece of original Art Deco Period jewelry.
