This plate from D'Arceau-Limoges commemorates the United States bicentennial. This plate features the Marquis de Lafayette and the Baron de Kalb talking with plantation slaves after Lafayette has safely landed his ship "Victoire" on the shores of South Carolina.
This plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. I do not have the original box or the certificate of aucthenticity.
Each plate is marked on the back and numbered. The plate number is 770. This plate has a hanger for easy display.
The plate measures approximately 8 1/2 inches across and weighs about 3/4 pounds unpacked.
