This plate from D'Arceau-Limoges commemorates the United States bicentennial. This plate features the Marquis of Lafayette signing a document proclaiming his support of the American rebels against the English. A French officer, the Baron de Kalb presents the contract while American emissary, Silas Deane looks on.
This plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. I do not have the original box or the certificate of aucthenticity.
Each plate is marked on the back and numbered. The plate number is 469. This plate also includes a hanger for easy display.
The plate measures approximately 8 1/2 inches across and weighs about 3/4 pounds unpacked.
