1955 New York State Thruway User's Guide
This is a very nice guide by the New York Good Roads Association, Inc. The guide is divided into sections, starting in Niagara Falls and running through Harriman. In each section there is an Advertising Directory of Hotels, Motels, Restaurants, Business Services, Recreation and Auto Dealers and Service. There are pictures of historic sites, along with a history of each section of New York State. There were 37 Interchanges at that time. It cost $5.00 to go from Spring Valley NY (14) to Buffalo (50) Today it costs $17.50 and there are many more Interchanges!
