Wayno's Howie "the Hat" Patterson character is one of my all-time favorites great drawings, fun pop culture nonsense and very funny.
Mondo Howie was a series that collected other artists' interpretations of Howie and this one's got great full-page drawings by Peter Bagge, Dennis Worden, Mark Martin, Andy Nukes, Scott Nickel, J.L. Hart, Wayno and "F. Villon", who I could swear is Steve Willis.
It's noted as the "2nd printing" but there was also a "Rejected Edition" of 50 copies that may actually be the true 1st printing (in which case this wouldn't be a traditional 2nd printing but a 2nd edition).
The title ran six or seven issues, I think, and every one is worth hunting down.
This copy comes from the collection of David Tosh (Hey!, Scratchface Doodlehead).
