Here's a very nice cacheted cover for the U.S. Navy nuclear missile submarine USS James Monroe. As far as I know, it doesn't commemorate any specific event.

Cachet: Circular black rubber-stamped design featuring a star labeled "POLARIS" above a globe superimposed on a document entitled "MONROE DOCTRINE". Additional text reads, "USS JAMES MONROE SSBN 622 / WATCHFUL WAITING".
Condition: Clean and neatly label addressed, with just a few small creases around the edges.
