Here's a pretty Christmas postcard featuring a couple of ice skaters, a windmill, holly branches and a poinsetta. It says "CHRISTMAS GREETING" and the verse reads:

Just because its Christmas
I send this little card
And tie to it a love-knot
Of my sincere regard.

It's numbered "114" on the back, but no publisher is identified.

The card is postmarked from Leesburg, Virginia, on December 22, 1921, and backstamped in West Virginia (probably Bolivar) on December 23, 1921. It's addressed to a Mrs. Nettie Thomas in Bolivar.

Size: approx. 5½" x 3½"

Date: Postmarked 1921 but the card itself has no copyright date.

Condition: Just fair, I'd say. It's obviously postally used but the stamp has fallen off. There are a few creases and some mild staining, and there's a small spot of paper loss just above the circle where the windmill appears. (Please see scans.)
