Pandorea jasminoides 'Charisma', 25 seeds

Like all Jasmine Bower Vines (Pandorea jasminoides), the Charisma variety produces lots of 2-inch long, tubular flowers from spring through fall. It is similar to the Rosea variety in having light pink blooms with dark pink throats, that are followed by large elliptical fruits containing many seeds. But then it is variegated! Its pinnate, glossy leaves are green variegated with yellow, extremely attractive that the evergreen twiner looks lovely even without blooms. And that's not the end of the story, even the seed pods are variegated -- starting off green with yellow patches before ripening to brown. So if you are looking for a touch of "shibori" for your trellis, don't pass this one up. Hardy to zone 9. 20 feet or more, best for a tall trellis, arbor or chain-link fence. Full sun to part shade, and in the lee of prevailing wind. Any reasonably drained soil with ample water. Hard-to-find seeds, harvested 01/2012.
